NorwayUniversities.com is an independent directory of Norwegian higher education institutions and their English-taught degree programmes. It is not affiliated with any university, with the Norwegian government, with the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) or with Study in Norway. We put the institutions, their programmes, scholarships and practical study guides in one place so you can compare before you apply.
What we do
- Maintain a structured directory of Norwegian institutions and English-taught degree programmes, built on the programme list published by Study in Norway (studyinnorway.no, run by HK-dir) and on the institution register in DBH, HK-dir’s database for statistics on higher education (dbh.hkdir.no, open data under the Norwegian Licence for Open Government Data).
- Publish guides on applying, tuition fees, the study permit, living costs, healthcare and housing, each ending with the official sources we used and the date we last checked them.
- Provide comparison tools so you can weigh universities side by side.
- Connect students with free admission guidance.
Independence
We are not owned by any single university and we do not sell rankings. Where we earn revenue, through advertising, affiliate links or lead generation, it never changes the factual information we publish. See our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
Accuracy
Institution and programme data come from the Study in Norway programme list and the DBH institution register, and we credit them as the sources. Where we show a QS World University Rankings position we read it from Wikidata, and only for institutions that have one; many do not. The registers do not list a tuition fee for most programmes, so we show a fee only where an institution states one for the programme on Study in Norway or on its own page, and we say so when a figure is missing instead of showing an estimate. Deadlines, requirements and fees change, so always confirm details with the institution before applying. Spotted something wrong? Tell us through our corrections process.
