Molde University College

Molde University College, Specialized University in Logistics (Høgskolen i Molde, Vitenskapelig høgskole i logistikk) is a Norwegian specialised university in the town of Molde, in Møre og Romsdal county. Some study programmes are offered in Kristiansund as well. Møre Research Institute sits on the Molde campus.

The institution was a university college until it received its status as a specialised university in logistics. It is one of nine specialised universities in the Norwegian system. That status shapes what it is: a place built around a particular field rather than a broad spread of disciplines.

Teaching covers business administration, logistics, information technology and health sciences. Degrees run at bachelor, Master of Science and PhD level. The doctoral programmes are in logistics and in health sciences. Bachelor programmes include social studies, business administration, logistics, sports management, information technology and health sciences. Master's programmes include logistics, engineering logistics, petroleum logistics, event management, team sport management and business administration.

The Study in Norway list (HK-dir) shows 7 English-taught degree programmes here, all at Master's level. The subjects listed are computer science, health administration, business administration, supply chain and logistics, sports science, and energy and renewable engineering. In the DBH register the institution has code 0232, is recorded as Høgskolen i Molde, vitenskapelig høgskole i logistikk, is a state scientific university college owned by the Ministry of Education and Research, and has postcode 6402.

For an international student, applying goes through the institution's own system. Students from outside the EU/EEA need a study permit from UDI. EU/EEA and Swiss students are normally exempt from tuition at state institutions, while other degree students pay an institutional fee. Check the details on the institution's website before you apply.
