About Norwegian School of Leadership and Theology
The Norwegian School of Leadership and Theology (Høyskolen for Ledelse og Teologi, HLT) is a theological seminary at Stabekk in Bærum, Norway. It is jointly owned by the Baptist Union of Norway and Filadelfia Oslo, a Pentecostal congregation.
The school has its origins in the Norwegian Baptist Seminary, founded in 1910. The college was established in 2008 as a merger between the Norwegian Baptist Seminary and the Pentecostal Center for Leadership and Theology. It took over the accreditation of the Baptist seminary as well as its premises.
HLT offers a bachelor's degree in theology and a one-year programme in Christianity, accredited by the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT).
The Study in Norway list (HK-dir) shows one English-taught degree programme here, at bachelor's level, in theology. NOKUT's institutional category is university college / university of applied sciences, and the DBH institution register lists it as a private høyskole with code 8248, owner Kunnskapsdepartementet, postcode 1368.
For an international student, applications go through the institution's own system. Students from outside the EU/EEA normally need a study permit from UDI. EU/EEA and Swiss students are normally exempt from tuition at state institutions, and other degree students pay an institutional fee.
The register in numbers
Fees are in NOK as the institution lists them. A programme with no figure in the register is "not listed" on its page, never free.
